Hate Going to the Emergency Room?
|
|
The Topham Park neighbourhood of East York is in the process of getting an amazing new facility for urgent medical care. Located at 1450 O'Connor Drive across from the O'Connor Bowl is a fabulous brand new suite of offices that can treat most emergency room conditions (other than life/death).
Have a broken arm/sprained ankle/bad cut/need a blood pressure reading- come here!
The doctors are available to diagnose, suture, set broken bones, and do a host of other procedures that would normally take you hours to get treated in the emergency room at the hospital. There are family doctors accepting new patients here, along with specialists available, and a walk-in clinic plus Guardian Pharmacy.
If you are a doctor, dentist or other medical specialist there are still suites available to lease. Once the 3 buildings are completed it will be almost like a mini hospital complex except without an emergency room. Patients wouldn't have to leave the site to be treated by a variety of specialists or receive a series of tests.
If you are in the neighbourhood pop in to see the new facilities. They are planning a Health Fair in the near future and check here for more info when it becomes available.
