Topham Park- A Family Friendly Neighbourhood!
A Long Time Resident Speaks...

I moved to Topham Park with my husband, son and grandmother in September of 1960.

We chose our Topham Park home because my grandmother looked after my son

while my husband and I worked. The house filled all our needs to accommodate the family.

My son attended Victoria Park Public School and St. Clair Junior High

(now Gordon A. Brown Middle School). We loved the location and the fact East York

was the only Borough in Canada.

Funny story: There was a mushroom farm off of Victoria Park Ave.

(we found out after we moved here). The smell was awful, especially on a windy day.

I’m glad this is only a memory.

Now I am really glad we chose to live in The Topham Park area.

We have:

1.     Great Neighbourhood

2.     Close to TTC

3.     Close to shopping

4.     Good places to eat
